All of our Momma's (with the exception of Bailey, who lives with us!) at Cedar Bend live in guardian homes where they receive all the love and attention they deserve. Our Momma's come back to our house when they are ready to have their puppies. None of our dogs are kept outside and all of our Momma's whelp their puppies in the house with us. 

We only select females for our program that have wonderful temperaments, stellar conformation, and of the utmost health. If a female does not pass the health testing requirements for our program, she is spayed and not bred. 

Note: There are scam websites that steal photos and copies of health testing from legitimate breeders and use them on their own websites to trick people into thinking they are real. Because of this, we do not post our dogs health certificates on our website. However, we are members of the ALAA and all of our dogs are required to be health tested, you can read more about the required health testing per the ALAA here.

If you're curious about a certain dogs testing, we would be more than happy to provide their health certificates from OFA via email. 

Aside from the minimum health requirements per the ALAA, many of our dogs also have full genetic panels done by Paw Print Genetics. If a dog doesn't have a panel done by Paw Print Genetics, it's because that particular dog is 'Clear by Parentage'.
